PREHISTORIC BEAST

by Phil Tippett
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prehistoric_Beast

Prehistoric Beast is a ten-minute-long experimental animated film conceived, supervised and directed by Phil Tippett in 1984.
Made with the go motion animation technique, scenes from Prehistoric Beast were included in the 1985 full-length
documentary Dinosaur!, first aired on CBS in the United States on November 5, 1985. Phil Tippett later did work for
Star Wars and Jurassic Park.

I personally was a 7 year old quite fond of dinosaurs when the documentary Dinosaur! aired.
The moonlight shining on the teeth of that Tyranosaurus Rex made a permanent impression.
Of course it was not until Youtube that most of us are able to see the full version as a stand alone film.
Forty years later this film is still one of the best examples of a dinosaur film ever made.

A book I remember from my childhood. Thanks mom for buying this and reading it to me.

The "Lost & Found Vintage Toys" blog has page scans.

I also remember the audio cassette that books came with back then.
Which youtube user Nick Rosa was nice enough to convert into a video.
